Full Professor of Dentistry
Professor Maria Jacinta M. C. Santos is a dental educator, mentor, and academic leader with extensive experience in operative dentistry, restorative and esthetic dentistry, learner experience, internationally trained dentist education, faculty mentorship, and graduate education. She earned her PhD in Operative Dentistry from the University of São Paulo, with research credits developed at the University of Toronto.
Her leadership experience includes service as Assistant Dean, Learner Experience, Dentistry, and leadership of the Internationally Trained Dentists Program, together with extensive educational, mentorship, scholarly, and program responsibilities. She is a recipient of the W. W. Wood Award for Excellence in Dental Education.
