Full Professor of Dentistry
Professor Gildo C. Santos Jr. is a dental educator, academic leader, mentor, and consultant with extensive experience in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, dental education, curriculum and program development, professional governance, and dental industry R&D. He earned his PhD in Prosthodontics, Oral Rehabilitation, from the University of São Paulo, with research credits developed at the University of Toronto.
His professional experience includes senior academic leadership, service on the Council of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, participation in national and international dental education initiatives, mentorship of students and early career professionals, and consultation supporting dental education programs and dental industry R&D. He is an alumnus of the ADEA Leadership Institute and Western Leader Academy and has authored or coauthored more than 70 peer reviewed publications.
